Last week two Mineola High School graduating seniors received The Susan Satriano Foundation Scholarship Award: Nikole Rodrigues and Coralie Boisrond.

The Susan Satriano Memorial Scholarship Foundation gives scholarship money to graduating seniors who either have a parent currently battling cancer or who have already succumbed to it.  Since inception 5 years ago, the foundation has helped 75 students go on to fulfill their dreams of going to college.

To be eligible for The Susan Satriano Memorial Scholarship Award, students must be a graduating high school senior preparing to go to an accreddited college in the fall.  They also, unfortunately, must have a parent who is presently battling cancer or has recently passed away of it.
