How’s your day going so far? Good we hope and great if we can make it that much better. Today we’re encouraging some fans of Big Blue to show off and tell us their tales, highlighting some action on the basketball court and showcasing an exhibition.

Here’s what else you need to know:

2. There’s a full schedule of action on the hardwood today as Chaminade will host Holy Trinity at 4 p.m., Mineola travels to Franklin Square for a late-night 8 p.m. tip off against Valley Stream and the Lady Mustangs will go against Valley Stream North at home at 4:30 p.m.

3. Local photographers Mary Jane Caldwell and Pat Dillon have some of their portfolios on display at the Mineola Library this month. The exhibition runs until January 27.
