Carle Place Holds Fourth Annual Relay for Life Event

On Saturday June 8, Carle Place held its annual Relay for Life at Carle Place High School.

Joining participants at the event were North Hempstead Town Clerk Leslie Gross, Jenna-Lynn Zaino, Hope Alfieri, and Town Councilwoman Dina DeGiorgio.

Lynn Zaino was recognized by the town clerk, NY Senator Jack Martins, and Nassau Legislator Rich Nicolello for organizing the event for the last four years. This year, she passed the torch to Alfieri.

Relay For Life events happen in thousands of places across the country, and feature an overnight relay that both raises money for the cause and honors local cancer survivors.
