Opening day at the Garden City Community Church Nursery School (CCNS) went smoothly as the faculty greeted the young students. They introduced the young children to the fun activities in the classroom and playground.
"The first day of school is so exciting - everything is possible. The children come ready to learn, make friends and have fun," said CCNS director, Cathie McCullough.
The new additions to the nursery school playground this year include a woodworking area and a new shed to make the big blocks more accessible to the children. In addition, new water filters were installed in every classroom.
