VIDEO: Baby Bunnies Make an Appearance at Mineola Library
Potential young pet owners learn firsthand about caring for bunnies.
In the weeks just before Easter, Judy Wilson travels all across Long Island during the last three weeks of March with a basket of newborn bunnies, putting on a program where children first learn about these furry animals, getting the opportunity to play with the small balls of fluff and potentially the first steps toward responsible pet ownership.
This year, Wilson brought eight 4-week-old bunnies from a breeder known as Su the Rabbit Lady to the on Monday afternoon to meet their young fans.
