When it’s hot enough to melt outside, refresh yourself with delicious ice cream.

Sunday, July 21 is National Ice Cream Day, and July is National Ice Cream Month, designated by Ronald Reagan in 1984.

Baskin Robbins, which has a location in Mineola, is launching a Twitter sweepstakes Sunday to give ice cream lovers a chance to win one of 10 $31 Baskin-Robbins gift cards in celebration of National Ice Cream Day. One grand prize winner will receive $260 in Baskin-Robbins gift cards.

On July 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. followers of @BaskinRobbins who Tweet the ice cream flavor they think goes best in a waffle cone using the special hashtag #BRflavors will be entered for the chance to win.
