Chaminade LI Businessmen’s Association Names New President

CPA John Massaro to helm organization until 2014.

John A. Massaro was recently named the new president of the Chaminade High School Long Island Businessmen’s Association.

Massaro, a CPA and Audit Manager at Garden City-based Armao, Costa & Ricciardi, CPAs, P.C., was inducted for a two-year term at the organization’s quarterly meeting held at Chaminade High School on October 25.

His clients include companies in the real estate, construction, healthcare, manufacturing and wholesale industries, as well as for privately held and family owned businesses.

As president of the association, Massaro will run the group’s distinguished speakers program, plan meetings, coordinate with other Chaminade alumni associations and spearhead a membership drive.

A resident of Melville, he is a member of the school’s Class of 1982 as well as he the founder and chair of a monthly networking group comprised of fellow alumni of Chaminade High School.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
