Cub Scout Pack 311 of Williston Park, Church of the Resurrection, held their Annual Welcome Back BBQ & Rocket Launch at Hempstead Harbor Beach on September 8.
Despite the windy conditions, all of the Cub Scouts, with the help of their leaders, built & launched rockets made from soda bottles in a tradition to see whose rocket shoots the highest.
This is just one of the many exciting and fun events the cub scout pack holds each year.
