1. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Fully Charged

Where/When: Nassau Coliseum, Wednesday, March 16 thru Sunday, March 20.

Why Go:  Breathtaking dare-devilry, superhuman stunts and never-before-seen performances that energize Children of All Ages! 

Pricing: $30 - $150 per seat

Where/When: , Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: One of the most popular Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals. Come see the Middle School’s production of Oklahoma!

Where/When: , Saturday, March 19 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Why Go: Astronaut Encounter with Cosmonaut Maxim Suraev and Space Shuttle Astronaut Marsha Ivins. Photo exhibition, LEGO play stations and art projects for the kids and meet-and-greet with the astronauts.

Pricing: Free with museum admission

Where/When: , Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20 from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Why Go: The circus is in town and LICM is celebrating with a film festival filled with short films all about the circus! View the antics of “Mr. Shape,” experience a love story between a clown and dancer in “Sideshow,” go on an adventure with “Ruby Who?” and so much more! 

Pricing: $4 with museum admission ($3 LICM members), $8 theater only. Museum admission ($10 for adults and children over 1 year old, $9 seniors, free to museum members and children under 1 year old).

Where/When: , Sunday, March 20, from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Why Go: This exhibition will honor 1,128 Kindergarten through twelfth grade students who have demonstrated excellence in a wide variety of two-dimensional visual art forms including drawing, painting, printmaking, computer graphics, and photography. This year, 384 art educators from 212 schools in 39 Nassau County school districts, submitted student artwork for this prestigious exhibit.

6. Watercolor and Mixed Media Demonstration

Where/When: Dick Blick’s Store, 186 Glen Cove Rd., Carle Place, NY 11514,  Friday, March 18 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Why Go: Mineola artist Lisa Fazio will be explaining how to color mix, design and work from you own creative process.
