Where/When: Hicks Nurseries, Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 20. Hours during the show are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 8 p.m.
Why Go: Lots of flowers, beautiful displays, children's events. On Saturday, March 12, children under 12 are invited to plant their own beanstalks. Take them home, watch them grow inside and put them outside in April to produce their own beans! Stop by the Children’s Corner anytime during the day to plant your beans.

This “Korean Idol” finalist and Town of Hempstead “Pathfinder Award” winner in the Arts and Entertainment category, just 22 years old, will sing patriotic songs, opera, Broadway tunes, and a little bit of the Irish to help celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
