The will go off with a bang tonight as Independence Weekend continues tonight at .
Beginning at 8 p.m., members of the Nassau Pops Orchestra will be performing a number of popular orchestral pieces as they did , from well-known classical composers right through the modern day maestros like John Williams.
A display of fireworks will end the evening with the display starting immediately after the conclusion of the concert.
Residents are reminded to bring lawn chairs and blankets in order to enjoy the concert.
The Nassau Pops will also be holding a second concert in the park on Friday, June 27.
