Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos was the guest speaker at the recent meeting of the Mineola-Garden City Rotary at the Garden City Hotel.
Comptroller Maragos discussed the assessment system and how it affects property taxes, the economic state of the county and what to expect for 2013, and took a number of questions from the attendees.
