The recently presented ’s unique Diabetes Education Center with two generous donations totaling $12,000.
The Mineola Lions Club gave $10,000 to the Edward Smith Pre-Diabetes Intervention Program and donated an additional $2,000 for the Diabetes Education Center’s KIDS Program.
Mineola Lions President Joe Bosnack presented the checks to Virginia Peragallo-Dittko, Director of Winthrop’s Diabetes Education Center.
