VIDEO: Mineola’s Youngest Show Off Talents

Mineola Memorial Library holds talent showcase for children.

On August 16 the held a talent show for children entering grades one and up. Family and friends attended the event to support the talents of the children, which ranged from musical instruments to singing to baton twirling.

After the initial tryouts on August 1, about 10 acts performed on stage in front of their live audience of friends and family. The show lasted about an hour and afterwards the children came up individually to take a bow and be rewarded with a certificate and ribbon for participation.

The talent show not only allowed the children to showcase their talents, but to have the courage to do so in front of a live audience.
