MJFD Trip to Germany Day 1: Landing in Germany
Day one of the Mineola Junior Firefighters' 2011 trip to Germany.
After , the members of the Mineola Junior Fire Department landed safely in Germany but were greeted by rain. At the airport the members of the Hamburg-Stellingen Junior Fire Department along with members and apparatus of the Hamburg-Stellingen Fire Department were there waiting to take them back to the firehouse where they had breakfast.
Following the meal the Hamburg-Stellingen Junior Fire Department presented members of the Mineola Junior Fire Department with gifts.
The juniors then caught up on some rest back at their hotel, then went to the beach at the North Sea and enjoyed another meal at a different local firehouse before heading back to the hotel for the night.
