MJFD Trip to Germany Day 2: Harbor Tour
Day two of the Mineola Junior Firefighters' 2011 trip to Germany.
For their as part of an exchange program with the Hamburg-Stellingen Junior Fire Department, the Mineola Junior Firefighters were treated to a tour of the local harbor both on land and by sea.
A walking tour of Hamburg Harbor was complemented by one from the deck of a local boat and then followed up by a beach trip and a barbeque as well as some time spent in the water.
Day 3 be an “action packed” experience as the juniors are scheduled to head to Berlin to see the country’s capitol and meet with local leaders.
