MJFD Trip to Germany Day 6: Hamburg News
Day six of the Mineola Junior Firefighters' 2011 trip to Germany.
On the sixth day of their as part of an exchange program with the Hamburg-Stellingen Junior Fire Department, the Mineola Junior Firefighters of Deutschland with a visit to a local TV station.
The juniors were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of a working TV newsroom, which is not all that dissimilar from their American counterparts, including the control room and the anchor desk.
Following their experience in the newsroom, the juniors then trekked back to the Hamburg Fire House where they had an outdoor barbecue.
