Nightlife in Mineola This Weekend

All the hot spots to check out the weekend of October 21-23 in Mineola.

After a long, hard week at work you deserve some fun. Concerts, contests and entertainment, we’ve got you covered when it comes to nightlife in the village. Let us be your guide to all the fun in town for all the hottest spots to check out this weekend in Mineola. Every Friday, we’ll be running down the hottest spots in Mineola to plan your weekend.

Concerts

Head down to  on Friday to see Acoustic Blue perform and Saturday evening for The Generators, who have been playing this spot for 15 years. Both groups hit the stage at 9 p.m. The best part of all is that there is no need to worry about ticket prices – cover is free!

Comedian Kathy Griffin will take the stage at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Friday starting at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $62 to $85. On Saturday evening Brian Regan will perform, with tickets starting at $57. Be sure to check out the “Max & Ruby Bunny Party” for the children on Sunday, with show times at 1 and 4 p.m.

The local band Suburbia will play at on Saturday starting at 9 p.m.

Prepare to be frightened this weekend with the opening of the third installment of the ever-popular “Paranormal Activity” series. This horror flick takes viewers to an eerily terrifying possessed home.

Those interested in a little more action and adventure should check out the “Three Musketeers,” starring Luke Evans, Ray Stevenson and Matthew Macfadyen. This film depicts the infamous trio in a setting of romance and excitement.

“Johnny English Reborn” also opens on Friday and stars Rowan Atkinson in a maze of thrill as a team get ready to kill a prominent Chinese leader.

Theater

Hofstra University will put on several showings of the on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the John Cranford Adams Playhouse on the South Campus. Tickets are $15 or $12 for seniors over 65 and matriculated non-Hofstra students with an ID.

’s Department of Theatre and Dance will present “” this Friday at 7 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. See Charlie Brown and the whole gang live on stage for only $9 per person ($6 for children under 12).

Hour Hours

 holds their happy hour on Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Be sure to check out the $3 mixed drinks, wine and domestic bottled beers, $2.50 Budweiser and Miller, and $2 Hanley’s draft.
