After a long, hard week at work you deserve some fun. Concerts, contests and entertainment, we’ve got you covered when it comes to nightlife in the village. Let us be your guide to all the fun in town for all the hottest spots to check out this weekend in Mineola. Every Friday, we’ll be running down the hottest spots in Mineola to plan your weekend.

Concerts

“The Relics” will entertain crowds this Friday, while classic rock band “Marshal Law” will hit the stage on Saturday at . All shows start at 9 p.m.

This weekend’s lineup at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury includes psychic medium John Edward on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Doo Wop Extravaganza on Saturday at 8 p.m. Check the website for additional ticket information.

The will take the stage at a free concert, courtesy of Nassau County, on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Mitchel Athletic Complex in Garden City. The orchestra will perform many holiday favorites, including “Sleigh Ride” and “A Christmas Festival.” The free tickets are available at Bethpage Federal Credit Union branches and the administration building at Eisenhower Park.

A star-studded cast fills the much-anticipated “New Year's Eve” movie, which opens this Friday. Sarah Jessica Parker, Lea Michele, Robert De Niro and Zac Efron, among many others, celebrate the exciting holiday in style.

Jonah Hill lights up the screen and makes the audience laugh with “The Sitter.” Hill portrays a babysitter who takes the kids on an adventure of a lifetime. Also starring Max Records, Kevin Hernandez and Ari Graynor.

Holiday Fun

The Cellini Lodge #2206 Order Songs of Italy in America will be holding its annual holiday on Friday beginning at 7 p.m. at Villa Umberto’s in Elmont. There will be music, an open bar and sit down dinner. Tickets are $65 per person.

Enjoy the holiday season at Clark Botanic Gardens in Albertson this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The “” will feature activities, train displays, crafts and more. Entrance is free courtesy of the Town of North Hempstead.
