Nightlife in Mineola This Weekend

All the hot spots to check out the weekend of February 17-19 in Mineola.

After a long, hard week at work you deserve some fun. Concerts, contests and entertainment, we’ve got you covered when it comes to nightlife in the village. Let us be your guide to all the fun in town for all the hottest spots to check out this weekend in Mineola. Every Friday, we’ll be running down the hottest spots in Mineola to plan your weekend.

Concerts

The “Trip Kings” will be hitting the stage to entertain crowds at Eleanor Rigby’s on Friday, while “Rockin’ 45” will rock the house on Saturday evening. Both shows begin at 9 p.m. and there is no cover charge.

Saturday night the Black Sheep Ale House has Face*First, a hard-driving rock band that cover a large selection of alternative and hard rock songs, performing live at 9 p.m.

Foreigner will play at the NYCB Theatre in Westbury on Friday, with Bill Bur taking the stage on Saturday. Aaron Lewis, of Staind, will finish off the weekend with a show on Sunday. All shows begin at 8 p.m. For additional information on tickets, please visit the NYCB Theatre website.

For those looking for an action flick this weekend, look no further. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance opens on Friday in 3D and will take the audience on the ride of their life. Starring Nicolas Cage, Violante Placido, Ciaran Hinds, and Idris Elba.

Opening on Friday, This Means War plots two CIA agents against each other in a fight for a woman’s love. Starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, Chelsea Handler, and Til Schweiger.

Happy Hour

Murphy’s Bar & Grill offers up happy hour on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring $3 domestic bottles, wine and mixed drinks, $2.50 for Bud and Bud Light drafts, and $2 for Hanley’s draft. Unwind after a long week with some friends at this Mineola watering hole.
