Live Music

Over at  the group The Chubby Locals, comprised of three Mineola artists who play guitar, percussion and sing will be headlining at 9:30 p.m.

King Penguin will rock  tonight beginning at 8:30 p.m. Saturday The Generators will take the stage at 9:30 p.m. as the four-piece band plays a variety of music ranging from popular 50s tunes to present hits.

Concerts

Eddie Griffin will be headlining the April Fool’s Comedy Jam at the NYCB Theater at Westbury Saturday night at 8 p.m.

Lily Collins may be known as being the daughter of famed singer Phil Collins, but she is making a name for herself in Hollywood. Collins is starring opposite Julia Roberts in “Mirror Mirror”. The Snow White legend we all know is being retold on the big screen.

“The Bully Project” or as it is commonly known, “Bully” hits theaters this weekend. Five kids and their families are followed over the course of a school year to get a glimpse into the cruel world of bullies and those have have been bullied. Sundance and Emmy-award winning filmmaker Lee Hirsch hopes his movie, “The Bully Project” can be a catalyst for change.

 offers up happy hour on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring $3 domestic bottles, wine and mixed drinks, $2.50 for Bud and Bud Light drafts, and $2 for Hanley’s draft. Unwind after a long week with some friends at this Mineola watering hole.
