Nightlife in Mineola This Weekend

After a long, hard week at work you deserve some fun. Concerts, contests and entertainment, we’ve got you covered when it comes to nightlife in the village. Let us be your guide to all the fun in town for all the hottest spots to check out this weekend in Mineola. Every Friday, we’ll be running down the hottest spots in Mineola to plan your weekend.

Concerts

The “Relics” will be playing at Eleanor Rigby’s on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. On Saturday night, “In The Groove,” will be there at 9 p.m.

The band “Powerplay” will be playing at Shaker’s on Friday night starting at 9 p.m. On Saturday night, “Just Nuts” will be performing at 9 p.m. They are a party dance band that plays music of all eras.

“Dick Fox’s Doo Wop Extravaganza” will be at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Saturday night at 7 p.m. The Extravaganza will feature all of the great Doo Wop music from the 50’s and 60’s.

In 2072, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun awaits. Someone like Joe, who one day learns the mob wants to close the loop by transporting back Joe’s future self in “Looper.”

Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count’s teen-aged daughter in “Hotel Transylvania.”

Happy Hour

Murphy’s Bar & Grill offers up happy hour on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring $3 domestic bottles, wine and mixed drinks, $2.50 for Bud and Bud Light drafts, and $2 for Hanley’s draft. Unwind after a long week with some friends at this Mineola watering hole.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
