“Acoustic Blue” will be playing at Eleanor Rigby’s on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. On Saturday night, “The Generators” will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. They are a four-piece cover band that plays a huge variety of music ranging from today's hits back through the hits of the ‘50s.
Shaker’s is holding a Hurricane Sandy Fund Raiser this Friday, November 30 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. From 7 to 8:30 p.m., free wine, beer and munchies will be offered. There will also be live music by the band “Power Play” which will start at 7:30 p.m. and by Tony K and the Boardwalk will start at 9:00 p.m. All money collected from the evening will be given to the charity Family to Family where 100 percent of the donations go directly to the families in need. We are requesting a suggested donation of $25. All money collected will be given to the charity.
Long Island’s own Jim Breuer will bring his comedic talents to the NYCB Theater at Westbury on Friday night. The show starts at 8 p.m. and ticket prices range from $39.50 to $49.50.
