Concerts

“Faction” is a band that is in tune with today’s and yesterday’s hits and they will be playing at Eleanor Rigby’s on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. All of the band members work in the Radiology Department at Winthrop Hospital. On Saturday night Harpers Ferry will be playing at 9 p.m.

DJ Leo will be having his “Going Away Party” this Saturday at Shaker’s. All the action starts at 10:30 p.m.

Contemporary country singer, Martina McBride will be at the NYCB Theater at Westbury on Friday night at 8 p.m. will be playing on Saturday night at 8 p.m. Dick Fox's Doo Wop Extravaganza, featuring bands like The Duprees and Jimmy Beaumont & The Skyliners will be playing on Saturday night at 7 p.m.

Murphy’s Bar & Grill offers up happy hour on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring $3 domestic bottles, wine and mixed drinks, $2.50 for Bud and Bud Light drafts, and $2 for Hanley’s draft. Unwind after a long week with some friends at this Mineola watering hole.
