Nightlife in Mineola This Weekend

All the hot spots to check out the weekend of September 23 to 25 in Mineola.

After a long, hard week at work you deserve some fun. Concerts, contests and entertainment, we’ve got you covered when it comes to nightlife in the village. Let us be your guide to all the fun in town for all the hottest spots to check out this weekend in Mineola. Every Friday, we’ll be running down the hottest spots in Mineola to plan your weekend.

Concerts

On Saturday, beginning at 8 p.m., the  will hold its 80th anniversary gala. After a ribbon cutting ceremony, a dance will follow, with refreshments being served. Music will be provided by the Kitty Kelly Band.

Friday night at , Younity Heart & Soul will be the featured musical group. The act prominently features female musicians.

You'll be able to catch two different shows at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury this weekend. On Friday at 8 p.m. “ABBA: The Concert – A Tribute to ABBA” will take the stage. Tommy James and the Shondells, Mark Farner, Felix Cavaliere's Rascals will have their turn to perform on Saturday night, beginning at 8 p.m.

In “Moneyball,” Brad Pitt plays Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane, who changed baseball by choosing which players to hire in a completely new way.

“Dolphin Tale,” is an inspiring true story about a dolphin named Winter  who brought people together to help save her life.

An ex-special ops agent (Jason Statham) comes out of retirement in order to save his mentor in “Killer Elite.”

Happy Hours

Murphy’s Happy Hour which runs Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Wings are 25 cents each and domestic bottles are $3 apiece. If you can’t make it to Happy Hour, karaoke night starts at 9 p.m. every Saturday.

O’Donnell’s is open for happy hour from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with $3 domestic bottles available along with a discount of $2 on cocktails this weekend.
