Nightlife in Mineola This Weekend

Concerts

At 8 p.m. on Saturday night, “BIG SHOT” (the music of Billy Joel) will perform a concert . The price for tickets is $50, and the concert will benefit Prostate Cancer Early Detection Programs.

You can check out a bunch of shows at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury this weekend. First, Led Zeppelin 2 will be performing on Friday night at 8 p.m. Saturday night at 8 p.m. you can enjoy a night of doo wop music at the Fall Doo Wop Extravaganza. Finally, on Sunday night at 8 p.m. you can check out that 70’s rock band Blondie.

“The Lion King” returns to the silver screen today, but this time it will be presented in 3D. Better hurry though, it will only be in theaters for two weeks.

Sarah Jessica Parker stars in “I Don’t Know How She Does It,” a new movie out this weekend in which she plays a woman who must balance her life as a mother of two, a wife, and a career woman.
