No. 61 – Help Out at the Polls

If you fit the requirements with a little training you could be an Election Inspector at the November 8 Election Day.

There is always action at the polling centers on Election Day, not just inside the voting booth but behind it as well.

The one-week countdown has begun and there still may be spots available to work as an election inspector at the polls. In order to be considered you need to meet the Nassau County requirements including a training class prior to Election Day.

Eligible workers must also be Nassau County residents, registered to vote and 18 years or older. Workers must be present at their assigned polling place at 5:15 a.m. on Election Day, November 8 and work until the polls close.
