Portuguese Heritage Society Holds 2013 End of Summer Festival
Manuel Rodrigues receives citation for fifth year as society president.
The Portuguese Heritage Society held their annual end of summer festival in Mineola on Saturday afternoon.
Society President Manuel Rodrigues received a citation from Nassau Comptroller George Maragos marking his fifth year as president of the cultural association.
Maragos also announced that the county will hold the third annual Portugal Day celebration in June 2014.
