A total of 14 alumni of Chaminade High School perished in the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, as well as the fathers of four then-students at the school.

A total of 19 students at the school that clear Tuesday morning had a father working at the World Trade Center, but it would be Joseph Dickey (’02), Charles Waters (’05), Gregory Dimmling (’05) and Gregory Gardner (’03) who would never see theirs again.

The 14 other alumni of the all-boys Catholic school who perished in the attacks were primarily firefighters, police officers and businessmen involved with Wall Street.
