The Circus is Back in Town

Face painting, arts and crafts, juggling and good ol' clowning around.

The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is in town and the Long Island Children's Museum (LICM) was ready to celebrate Monday.

The museum, which is usually closed Mondays, opened its doors at 6 p.m. for three hours of face painting, arts and crafts, juggling and good ol' clowning around while youngsters awaited the arrival of the circus animal parade.

The world-famous elephants and some other animals marched right past the museum's front doors as they made their way from the circus train to the Nassau Coliseum.
