Cherish the Ladies' Celtic Christmas

Irish-American, all-female quintet Cherish the Ladies are performing their "Celtic Christmas" show at the Irish American Society on Dec 22 in celebration of their 25th anniversary as a band & in support of their new album, Country Crossroads.

Country Crossroads: An album celebrating their 25th anniversary of music making recorded in Nashville, Tennessee featuring Maura O’Connell, Vince Gill, Nanci Griffith, Eileen Ivers, Liz Carroll, Jimmy Higgins,  Brendan O' Regan, Deirdre Connolly, Liz Knowles with Nashville icons Rob Ickes (dobro), Alison Brown (banjo), Dennis Crouch,  (upright bass) and Kenny Malone (percussion).

About: Cherish the Ladies is an Irish-American musical institution in the states - they've been together for 25 years & just last year had a street named after them in the Bronx. Band leader Joanie Madden was also awarded The Ellis Island Medal of Honor for her enrichment of American culture while honoring Irish tradition.
