Glen Cove Summer Concert Series

Bethpage Federal Credit Union, an ardent supporter of Long Island’s many cultural events and initiatives, has teamed up with the Glen Cove Business Improvement District for the second consecutive year to host the Downtown Sounds 2011 Summer Concert Series.

Starting July 1, 2011 and running through August 26, 2011, Long Islanders will be treated to nine free Friday night summer concerts in the Glen Cove Village Square, where headlining performers from the worlds of Jazz to Latin, Motown to Swing will perform.

• July 8: The Loser’s Lounge: ‘80’s Dance Night’
• July 15: Marty Napoleon Jazz Quintet (Classic American Jazz) & The Jumpers (Swing)
• July 22: Richie Cannata, Eren Cannata, Young Rebel Goombas (Tropical Rockers) Opener: Sabrina Ali
• July 29: Dr. K’s Motown Revue (Motown)
• August 5: La Bola (Latin)
• August 12: Big Shot (Billy Joel Tribute)
• August 19: Beginnings (Chicago Tribute)
• August 26: Funk Junkies (Great Horn)
