Revolving around the theme, “Save the Children,” National Night Out will be held August 2nd at Martin “Bunky” Reid Park at Broadway and Railroad Street, Westbury. The parade assembles at 5:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 992 Prospect Ave., Westbury. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. at the park.

“National Night Out is not just an opportunity to support local anti-crime programs, but it’s also a chance for residents to unite,” Supervisor Kaiman said. With the ongoing revitalization, the New Cassel area is returning to the vibrant community it once was. A unified front among residents will further ensure that it will remain that way going forward.”
