John Ray Band Jazzes Up Mineola Library

John Ray Band performs jazz staples at Mineola library for residents.

A beautiful summer night was filled with the notes of jazz last week thanks to a performance from The John Ray Band as they performed some of their favorite pieces at the .

The band played a few famous compositions, as well as featuring a few solo performances by each of its members.

Comprised of director and bass player, John Ray, pianist Taylor Ragusis and drummer/ vocalist Ian Pitillo, the trio has been playing together for about 4 years.

The group can also be heard each Monday night at Louie’s Shore Restaurant in Port Washington or each Tuesday nights at Murphy’s in Mineola.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
