Andel’s Kosher Delicatessen & Appetizing Closes

The Roslyn Heights shop was known for its smoked fish, meats and other kosher delicacies.

Andel’s Kosher Delicatessen & Appetizing in Roslyn Heights has closed.

In business for more than 60 years, Andel’s was known for its kosher delicacies including smoked fish, meats, white fish, pickles, bagels and more. 

The venue was “the last of Long Island’s old-fashioned appetizing stores,” Newsday reported Monday.

A call to Andel’s Tuesday revealed that the phone number is no longer in service.
