King Kullen Helps Family Service League Send Children to Summer Camp

Grocer donates $6,000 to send 250 children to camp.

Thanks to the generosity of King Kullen Corp., and the people who shop and donate at , Huntington-based was presented with the first of two checks to help send children to summer camp.

King Kullen has been a dedicated supporter of Family Service League and the Long Island community, helping children whose families are struggling with financial hardship to enjoy a carefree summer camp experience.

Family Service League’s Camp program will provide over 250 children with a camp experience at both day and sleep-away camps this year.

The Family Service League is a Long Island non-profit human services organization providing a safety net for people in need through more than 40 different programs addressing needs in the Long Island community including mental illness, drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, job training, computer literacy and at-risk youth. It was founded in 1926 and serves over 50,000 Long Islanders each year.
