Vacant Storefront and Apartment on Willis Avenue [POLL]

On Willis Avenue is a store for rent or for sale with an apartment in the back for rent.

On 313A Willis Ave., a vacant store bares a “Laffey Associates Fine Home and Estates” realtor sign on the front window.

On the front door, in descending order, a sign reads “Back Apartment for Rent, Store for rent, Store for sale” with the owner’s number.

The 313A sign is fading away which indicates that the store has been up for sale or for rent for some time now. On top of the store’s door, an old air conditioner sticks out. Inside the store are white walls and wooden barriers.

It is unknown about how much square feet is available for the space and the owner declined to comment on their property for any further information.

In Monday’s Patch question, we want to hear what business you would like to see fill the vacancy? What store do you think would work in this location at 313A Willis Ave..

Patch will regularly spotlight vacant commercial properties in effort to initiate a discussion within the community about alternative uses for these abandoned places. If you’d like to know more about a specific property, please also comment below.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
