Vacant Window Network in Mineola [POLL]

What would you like to see fill the vacant space left by the home improvement supplier?

The corner of Willis Avenue and Jericho Turnpike in Mineola is one of the great locations in the village, a high traffic corner with visibility. The location at 285 Willis Avenue is vacant with the departure of Window Network, which provides windows and door for residential customers.

The commercial space is 5,000 square feet, offer a full basement and 45 space parking lot for customers that it shares with other tenants. The rent is $7,495 a month, and a long-term lease is available, according to T.Z.M Realty, Manhattan-based Real Estate Investment and Development company.

In Monday’s Patch question, we want to hear what business you would like to see fill the vacancy? What store do you think would work in this location – a restaurant, bank, office? Or something else?

Patch will regularly spotlight vacant commercial properties in effort to initiate a discussion within the community about alternative uses for these abandoned places. If you’d like to know more about a specific property, please also comment below.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
