Wingin' it at The St. James

Mineola diners can get test their tongues with mild, medium or burning hot flavored wings.

Monday night is wing night at , but that shouldn’t stop diners from partaking in one of the restaurants specials which come in a selection of three individual flavors.

The Dish: wings at the St. James

What’s In It: Chef JD’s chicken wings are deep-fried and then tossed in with a sauce that is a mixture of Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, red hot sauce and garlic. The sauce is finished with butter – the hotter the diner wants the wing, the less butter is added.

How’s It Taste: There’s plenty of tender meat on these wings and the outside is crisp and crunchy. If the spice level is a little too hot, you can cool it down with the bleu cheese dressing.

Sides: the wings are served with celery and carrot sticks and housemade bleu cheese dressing.
