PLANET FITNESS CELEBRATES GRAND REOPENING OF CARLE PLACE CLUB ON GLEN COVE ROAD

New location provides members with brand new equipment and more; join now for just $5 down and then $10 a month with no commitment

CARLE PLACE, NEW YORK (November 15, 2013) – Planet Fitness, the innovative health club franchise known for its Judgement Free Zone® and affordable prices, today announced the grand reopening of the Carle Place club at 200 Glen Cove Road.

To celebrate, now through November 26, members can join for just $5 down and then $10 a month. Planet Fitness prides itself on offering an affordable membership and a Judgement Free Zone®, where members are welcomed by a comfortable, non-intimidating environment. Each club also features a “Lunk Alarm,” a purple and yellow siren on the wall used to enforce the policy of no grunting, dropping weights or judging others.

The Carle Place Planet Fitness is 17,000 sq. feet and will offer brand new cardio machines, new fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, massage chairs*, numerous flat screen televisions, a 30-minute express circuit, and Hydro-massage beds*. The club will be open 24 hours during the week and close at 10 p.m. on Fridays. On weekends, the club will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Membership includes a variety of other benefits, including unlimited small group fitness instruction by a certified trainer through the PE&PF® program. In addition, as a member appreciation gesture, Planet Fitness provides free pizza on the first Monday of every month, and free bagels on the second Tuesday of every month, while supplies last.
