April 22: Earth Day, Tree Planting, Activities

You look a little green today. In fact, so do we. It’s Earth Day after all and the Mineola Patch has some environmentally-related stories for you today as well as the coverage you’ve come to expect around town.

2. The planted a tree yesterday for Arbor Day. Learn who they dedicated it to !

3. Earth Day comes to the with a fun activities for kids where they get to meet and learn about  this afternoon at 4 p.m.

4. The Mineola Patch is looking for outspoken members of the Mineola community to chare their thoughts about the school budget and school board elections leading up to the May 17 vote.
