Cooling Centers Open in North Hempstead
A park in New Hyde Park and one in Carle Place are the cooling stations open on Tuesday.

You can head to two of the Town's cooling stations on Tuesday – Charles J. Fuschillo Park in Carle Place and in New Hyde Park.
These centers will be open until 6 p.m. with water and air conditioning available unless the Town determines that they should be open later in the evening, a spokesman said.
