Feb. 8: Bond Vote, Basketball and String Night

It’s decision day for the Mineola School District as to how they will reconfigure the district for the future. Be sure to get out and vote! There’s plenty of other action around the schools today with three basketball games in motion and a concert tonight at the high school.

Here's what else you need to know:

1. The Mineola School District is holding a  which will reconfigure the district into a North-South model with additional classrooms. A ‘no’ vote would mean the fifth and eighth grades would move into the middle and high schools, respectively. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
