March 17: St. Patrick’s Day, Lacrosse and Green Activities Galore

We’re very lucky to have you with us today, it must have something to do with this four-leaf clover we happen to have! Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all our readers! We know its tradition to wear green every March 17, but we at Patch like it so much we decided to do it every day a long time ago! So grab some green, some Guinness (responsibly), a remember to kiss the Blarney stone, and have some celebratory fun!

Here’s what else you need to know:

1. The will be taking a bus into New York City for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Hurry as the bus leaves at 9 a.m.!

3. It’s getting to be the start of the lacrosse season as the Mineola girls are holding a pre-season scrimmage against Garden City at the .

4. As part of their food demonstration series, Hicks Nurseries is with his Belgium mussel pot demo and Dutch butter cake. You’ll also get to sample European beer in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
