May 13: Friday the 13th, Senior Recognition, Question of the Day

Break out your good luck charms, stay away from ladders, black cats and any hockey-mask wearing, machete-wielding giants out there because it’s Friday the 13th!

On a more serious note, we know you’re counting the hours until you can get away for the weekend, so we’ve got some news for you before you go.

1. Senior recognition day for the members of the Mineola boys lacrosse team has been changed to this afternoon according to the district’s website. Come down and support the team!

2. The Mineola Patch is looking for outspoken members of the Mineola community to chare their thoughts about the school budget and school board elections leading up to the May 17 vote.
