Here are some of the events going on around Mineola.

Relax readers, it’s the weekend! Time to catch up on your R&R, or (bearing a change in the forecast) some fun outdoors. We’ve got indoor activities too just in case so nothing to worry about.

2. Majestic Castle Music Productions Presents a muscal evening of “Believe, Heal and Hope” featuring classic soulful Ialian songs by Micheal CASTALDO at the Athletic Center. The performance is at 7:30 p.m on Saturday.

3. Want to have a pizza party? How about some wine? Stew Leonard’s is having both on Saturday along with Chef David Britton, of the Food Network's “Dinner Impossible” fame as the from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today.
