The event features an interactive skills course where children 4-10 can learn bicycle safety and will receive a free T- shirt and certificate when the course is completed. Participants must provide their own bicycle and helmet as well as be accompanied by an adult.
The event will begin at 12 noon by a Color Guard Presentation performed by the United States Volunteers of America, 11th NY Regiment and includes:
face painting and tattoos, prizes,raffles and giveaways, firetruck touring, meet and take a photo with Crime Dog Mc Gruff, bicycle and helmet inspections, learn how to fix a flat, bicycle registration by the Nassau County PD, eye screening by Dr. Napolitano of 20/20/ Eye Care, instruction by the Head Injury Association.
