Advanced Hearing Center - Open House

INTERNATIONAL STUDY FINDS WORLD’S SMALLEST,FULLY-WIRELESS HEARING DEVICE DELIVERS IMMEDIATE BENEFITS AND ACCEPTANCE BY FIRST-TIME USERS

Advanced Hearing Center will hold an Open House at their Albertson facility on Wednesday and Thursday, October 5 – 6 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. to introduce the smallest, most easy-to-get-used-to hearing aid available on the market today.

Leading hearing aid manufacturer Oticon is elated to be launching the Oticon Intiga in the United States, targeting first-time users of hearing aids. Results of a 1,500 person international study showed immediate and obvious benefits, including the self-adjusting feature which allows the wearer the ability to finally hear clearly when in a loud, crowded environment; rectifying this utmost concern resulted in immediate acceptance by the novice users. Within the first week of the study, the majority of the participants indicated a determination to wear their new hearing instruments long term.

Bluetooth capabilities allow Intiga to connect wirelessly to cell phones, becoming a virtual, hands-free headset. With the Oticon ConnectLine system, audio from televisions and landline phones can be streamed directly to the hearing instruments.

Anyone who feels they may have hearing loss can contact Advanced Hearing Center at 516-484-0811 to receive a complimentary hearing screening during the event.  Qualified participants will be able to take home the devices for a free, two-week trial period.  Complimentary wax removal, gifts and refreshments will also be offered.
