Belly Dance Benefit for the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Program

They’ll be dancing away the winter blahs at a belly dance event to benefit the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program to be held at Adelphi University’s University Center in Garden City on Sunday, February 27, from 2 to 5 pm. Dancers from Harem Belly Dance Studio of Baldwin along with several guests will perform. Audience members will have the opportunity to shop, explore and even join in to learn some basic moves.

“Everyone’s life has been touched by cancer,” says Aviva Khadra, director of the Harem Belly Dance Studio.  “We believe there is no better way to support such an incredible program as the Adelphi Hotline than by bringing together people to dance and celebrate life. There is hope. Together we can make a difference!” All proceeds will benefit the Adelphi program.

Ticket cost $20. All are welcome.
