Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Holding Blood Drive Thursday

Donors have chance to win tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII.

The Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Corps. is holding a blood drive Thursday afternoon at the Mineola Community Center.

Walk-ins are welcome between the hours of 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 29.

In addition, New York Blood Center has partnered with the 2014 New York/New Jersey Super Bowl Host Committee on the Super Community Blood Drive to motivate people to donate blood for patients in NY/NJ.

Every person who presents to donate blood will be entered into a sweepstakes for a pair of tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium and will receive a red Super Community Blood Drive wristband and T-Shirt.

Please bring identification with photo or signature.
